Performance Reviews
Time to give performance reviews but dismayed by the process?
Is feedback showing that your employees AND supervisors dread
performance reviews?
We offer "Painless Performance Reviews"
- Time to review an employee's performance? Pull out the job
description for that person's position. Don't have one yet?
Download the one you need from our selection, or use our help
to create one.
- Use the section that lists "Duties and Responsibilities"
as a guide to review expectations against performance.
Simply mark each duty as "exceeds", "meets"
or "not".
- Employee and manager meet, manager gives feedback and coaches
employee on how to improve in an area that does not meet expectations.
Using our "PPR" (Performance Planning Record) form,
both agree on an action plan for improvement. Together,
they make notes during the discussion and set actionable goals.
Helpful Hints: Keep a positive tone, give constructive feedback,
and coach for improvement when needed.
- Read scripts in our concise Coaching Lessons to help attain
goals and expectations. It takes 5 minutes to read the scenario
and script in each lesson, another 10 minutes to conduct and apply
the lesson.
